Ami's stalker appears in episode 6 of the anime series. He is a shady male character who follows Ami Kawashima around scaring her. He and many like him are the reason Ami moved. He wears a camera around his neck and uses it to take photo's of Ami and other cute girls.
When Ami is in a fit of anger, she destroys the stalker’s camera and frightens him. He ran away and has not been seen in the series since then.
